Excellent customer service. Ash was amazing. She helped me set up And choose my new pets, an emperor scorpion and a curly hair tarantula. She also went above and beyond and helped me set up their enclosures 10 out of 10 would recommend this place.

Expert knowledge. Professional staff and responsible pet retailer! If you are wanting an impulse buy this is not the shop for you. But that is 100% a good thing! The staff here are not just pet store employees. They are experts in their field and expect you to listen and LEARN before they sell you a loving creature. I work with animals myself and I differ to their expertise for many many things! They offer exotic boarding as well as embalming services for afterlife care of your scaily babies. There really is no other shop like it! More pet/animal focused stores should follow their example. They are not in it for the money, they are in it for the betterment of the reptile/exotic hobby.

This is truly a world class pet store. I didn’t know how good I had it until I moved to Tennessee and was missing it. I visited DFW for Christmas and had to stop in. My wife, who has never been enthusiastic about my tarantulas, saw a pink Tarantula Cribs enclosure she loved so much she got her first tarantula of her own. Was cool because this is where I also got my first snake, fist tarantula, first scorpion, fist centipede… everyone is so cool and knowledgeable and the assortment is unbeatable.

First off for as many animals and variety the smell was minimal, it’s well let, the animals are active and lively. You can see their care sheets attached to their enclosures of when they where cleaned held and what not , overall they show lots of pride in their animals and seem to actually care rather than just using them for profit. Prices were very fair and the staff was friendly knowledgeable and had liveliness aswell rather than looking sad and depressed. All the names for the reptiles were so cute and funny. They also had beautiful enclosures all around. From their supplies to there animals I would happily drive an hour again just to shop from them!

This place was clean and had a variety of animals. They require proof of pet set up before making a purchase, which is amazing! Making sure to the best of their ability the animals are going to a good home. They were really busy when we were in, so I didn't get much of a chance to talk to the staff, but I will on a future visit.

We visited close to closing time and this place was happening! Awesome displays with awesome various animals and lively friendly employees..... even all the customers were having a great time. Lots of laughter and excited conversations everywhere. Clean animal housing with lots and lots to see. Felt like a museum! Highly recommend even if its just visit!

I had a fantastic experience at DFW Reptarium working with Drew. This was my first time setting up a reptile habitat, and he was incredibly helpful walking me through everything I needed for an African fat-tailed gecko as a Christmas gift for my six-year-old kid. The store has a huge selection of animals and accessories. So it’s nice to know there’s a one stop shop in town. Drew made the process easy, answered all my questions, helped load the tank into my car, and made sure I felt confident with the setup. They’re very knowledgeable, welcoming to first-time reptile owners, and happy to answer my calls when I have questions.

The MOST complete reptarium shop in DFW! The Most UNIQUE in the whole DFW area! The ONLY place that carries live fuzzy's and pinkies!! Did I mentioned they carry Goliath Tarantulas?! (EPIC)! The place is very well taken care of, the employees very eager to help/answer any questions/concerns one may have. Absolutely worth the drive! Will be back soon for that theraposa blondi soon!

Went in with my daughter to learn more about buying her a snake for her bday. Dalton greeted us and was happy to walk us through the different types of snakes suitable for first time snake owners and taking note of the goals of her wanting a chill snake with ability to handle frequently. Showed us several different kinds and even let her hold one named ravioli. He was completely knowledgeable about all aspects from care, feeding requirements, housing and temperament, regarding the snake. Even walked us around the store and introduced us to all the other animals and knew each one by name. He did not rush us and answered every single question. Absolutely wonderful experience and we will be returning for her birthday snake! Thank you so much Dalton for making it a positive experience.

I just wanted to say how much this place has helped me learn about my snake’s demeanor and proper care. Because of their guidance, I feel much more comfortable as an owner, and it has truly improved my relationship with my snake. I’m a brand-new ball python owner, and while I had done my own research, the staff here helped me immensely. Hex helped me pick out the proper feeding mice and explained how to determine the correct size. Dalton and Griffin were incredibly helpful with behavioral questions, as well as habitat setup, husbandry, and other concerns I had. This store is wonderful, and all of the staff are extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. The store is always clean, the prices are very reasonable, and you can tell they genuinely care about the animals and their customers. Highly recommended!
